CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER OF WESCORP, CHRISTOPHER HOFF NOMINATED FOR INFORMATION SECURITY EXECUTIVE OF THE YEAR NATIONALT AWARD

This Award, which recognizes information security excellence nationally, will be presented at a gala dinner in conjunction with the CSI 31st Annual Computer Security Conference and Exhibition at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington , D.C. on November 8, 2004 .

Hoff is tasked with the overall responsibility to provide and support a secure computing environment for WesCorp and its members. This includes the creation and security life-cycle management of policies, procedures and information security governance efforts including regulatory compliance requirements. Hoff also oversees the Enterprise security technology architecture, implementation and management for WesCorp. Innovation and magic are requisite tools of his trade.

Prior to joining WesCorp, Hoff served as the Chief Security and Technology Officer for a national security consulting firm, formed and managed the security team and provided product development for a global service provider, and managed global IT/IS projects whose scopes were in the hundreds of millions of dollars. He has served on the Board of three Internet technology ventures and successfully personally raised nearly $2 Million in venture capital funding as well as serving on several high-profile security company advisory councils. Hoff currently holds several security credentials including CISSP, CISA, CISM, IAM, CCSE+ and is an accomplished and accredited technical instructor.
