PROMINENT INDUSTRY EXPERTS JOIN TECHNICAL ADVISORY BOARD TO EXTEND SKYBOX SECURITY’S LEADERSHIP

PALO ALTO, CA – January 18, 2005 – Skybox® Security, Inc., the leader of Security Risk Management (SRM), today announced the formation of its Technical Advisory Board (TAB) that is comprised of highly respected security experts with extensive technical and user experience. Skybox Security established the board as a forum to aggressively drive and shape the development of a new generation of solutions that demystifies and automates the IT security risk management challenge - putting security professionals on a path of managing risks proactively. Charter members include:

Ian Cook: Ian Cook is vice president at Cogenta Systems Ltd, an internationally recognized and respected leader in the field of information technology security and a well-known security research and intelligence analyst. Mr. Cook has also held senior technical and strategic roles at Citigroup, Saudi American Bank and most recently at Merrill Lynch. He is a long-standing active member of FIRST.

Dan Geer: Dan Geer is VP and chief scientist of Verdasys, Inc., principal of Geer Risk Services as well as an entrepreneur, author, scientist, consultant, teacher and architect. Among other positions Dr. Geer served as CTO of @stake and ran the development arm of MIT's Project Athena, a pioneering force in distributed computing. Mr. Geer is a widely noted author in scientific journals and the technology press. He has co-authored several books on risk management and information security.

Ed Skoudis: Ed Skoudis is a computer security consultant with Intelguardians and a recognized expert on hacker attacks and defenses, information security and computer privacy issues. Mr. Skoudis is an instructor with the SANS Institute, has written many articles on security and has published highly acclaimed books on hacker techniques and malware.

The charter TAB members are joined by three Skybox executives: Gidi Cohen, President/CEO; Moshe Meiseles, CTO; and Avi Corfas, Managing Director, Europe, Middle East & Africa. Moshe Meiseles is the TAB chairman.
