Mitsubishi, TransDigital and Skybox will work together with additional partners, including managed security service providers, security products distribution channels and system integrators in order to serve the needs of the entire market. This announcement validates the global need and opportunity for IT Security Risk Management solutions and further solidifies Skybox Security's global leadership position.

"Japanese companies are under tremendous regulatory pressure to better understand, document and manage their risk profiles. Skybox View is being applied by customers in the U.S. and EMEA in a broad array of strategic applications and we are delighted to be the first to bring the power of Skybox virtual modeling and simulation to the Japanese market," said Tatsuo Sato, Senior Vice President from Mitsubishi Corporation.

"Skybox View provides a strategic framework that will translate effectively into a number of new innovative services to help Japanese companies transform security into a business discipline," said Nobuya Yoshida, CEO from TD security CO., Ltd.

"Mitsubishi and TransDigital are recognized security solution leaders in Japan with broad reach and market impact. We are thrilled to be chosen as the core solution for this new collaborative offering and are committed to helping our customers worldwide achieve real business value from IT Security Risk Management," said Gidi Cohen, co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer for Skybox Security.

About Skybox View

The award-winning Skybox View™ is the industry's first integrated Platform of IT SRM applications based upon a modular, flexible and scalable Platform. Today, the Skybox View Platform supports two applications: Skybox Secure™ and Skybox Assure™ . Skybox Secure is focused on managing threats and reducing IT infrastructure risk, while Skybox Assure is focused on managing controls and documenting network policy compliance.

Skybox View soaks up infrastructure and security device configurations, evaluates vulnerability scan results, maps security and access controls, as well as classifies business assets. It uses this data to build a virtual model of an organization's IT infrastructure for the purpose of understanding potential threats, running attack and access simulations, analyzing the business impact and determining the right level of countermeasures. The virtual model can be safely attacked, changed and analyzed for the purpose of improving the security profile of the organization as well as validating the impact of proposed network configuration changes in harmony with network policies. This approach enables organizations to achieve a continuous evaluation and improvement of their risk profile as well as maximize the effectiveness of multiple layers of security.
